yes can see your point on the culture section being option as some people may also feel unfortable with this section... in the sense it is personal and outside what many may feel is specific to the learning process. for me it is routed and impacts directly on the teacher learner relationship and related equity. This for me put to the side generally and even if difficult i feel would benefit the overall experience and subsequent educational experience. I also appreciate this may differ from the mainstream EU perspective on diversity but for me I am coming with a different pedagogy edge in the reasoning. good to discuss before we make a decision. easy option is leave as option but i feel this is avoiding issues that should be dealt with in in reality the tool on touches on these issues (so not in you face and this was intentional).
In terms of people administering it then needs to be teacher training if to be used beyond piloting. multiculturalism and learning styles needs to be used in the classroom ONLY if properly implemented and thought through in terms of teaching style and supporting resources. For me otherwise can be damaging for the learner. Most of the trashy learning styles tools are around VAK while most of the rigorous reasearch is more routed in cognitive learning styles and secondly the VAK/comms area.
Anyway enough for now
