BeyondLabels Blog is focused on supporting technology enhanced multicultural education to combat social exclusion in both formal and informal education. BeyondLabels initiative is led by Glenn Hardaker and Aishah Sabki. The partnership blends a western and eastern 'eye'on multicultural education and technology.The importance of such an approach is eloquently illustrated in the following quote: “in a globalised economy, the future lies with people who can think and act with informed grace across ethnic, cultural, linguistic lines” (Hughes, 1993).

I'm Glenn, and my research work is driven by a desire to understand multicultural education and the role of technology in supporting pedagogy equity... Implementing multicultural education pedagogy in shifting the balance to learners.

I'm Aishah, and my work is motivated by implmenting multicultural education provision in supporting learner identity... raising awareness of eastern perspectives with a particular interest in non-secular education.
